The Source Naturopathic Center supervised a pilot study for osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia patients. As of April 12, 2009 we opened the pilot study and took new patients.
The study has concluded and we will be publishing the results by end of 2010. For more information please contact our office and Dr. Arneson will be happy to answer any questions.
The new formulation, developed by Arizona nutraceutical company, Liquid CMO, LLC, has produced remarkable testimonial results with no harmful side effects and no known drug interactions and is looking to document elimination of symptoms.
Pilot study participants had the opportunity to benefit from the positive effects current users of the supplement have experienced in last two years of human trials, while taking the newest Liquid CMO formulation.
All participants were medically supervised by myself, David Arneson, NMD, Medical Director of The Source Naturopathic Medical Clinic.
Dr. Arneson received his Doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and is an Adjunct Professor of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. The college WAS NOT part of this study.
Cetyl myristoleate is a naturally ring waxy alcohol (Long Chain Fatty Acid) discovered in 1972 by Dr. Harry Diehl. Dr. Diehl applied for and received two U.S. Patents on Cetyl myristoleate, the first in 1977 for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and then in 1996 for osteoarthritis.
CMO has been found through clinical studies and client testimonies to benefit many with autoimmune diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, Crohn’s disease, Sjögren’s syndrome and multiple sclerosis. According to personal accounts by current Liquid CMO users, stiffness, pain and swollen joints have decreased or vanished.
Osteoarthritis, sometimes called degenerative joint disease or osteoarthrosis, is the most common form of arthritis. Osteoarthritis occurs when cartilage in your joints wears down over time. While osteoarthritis can affect any joint in your body, the disorder most commonly affects joints in hands, hips, knees, neck, lower back.
Fibromyalgia is a common condition characterized by long-term, body-wide pain and tender points in joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Fibromyalgia has also been linked to fatigue, morning stiffness, sleep problems, headaches, numbness in hands and feet, depression, and anxiety. Fibromyalgia can develop on its own or along with other musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.

Arthritis pain sometimes become very much untolarateable. It should be diagnosed before it get worst. nourishing the joints through improving the circulation around the joint can results fantastic.
Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) has been shown in all major studies done to decrease pain and increase function of the joints…whether it lubricates, as some say, is still not proven…what we do know is that it does decrease inflamation-thus pain- in many of the patients that do it…with respect dr dave
Nice topics, I am looking this type of topics, I want more. I know The best chiropractic

Hi and sorry this is so late getting back to you…finally figured out how to work this blog…one of the things i highly recommend for all pain is the product liquid CMO…go to http://www.liquidcmo.com we just finished a small pilot study using the liquid CMO for fibromyalgia…the paper is currently being peer reviewed and hopefully published soon…amazing results…and of course there are other studies that have been done on RA OA thanks for your mail and i’ll do a better job next time keeping up with this site…with respect dr dave
Sound interesting. I would be interested to know what the results are once the study is complete. It would benefit millions of people if it does prove to have significant benefits. How is the CMO administered to patients and how does it work?
Hi…sorry this is so late getting back to you…just learning how this blog stuff works…kinda of dates me i guess…the answer of course is that the study ended in the 3rd week in June…the paper has been written and is currently being peer reviewed…the results were actually quit amazing…of the 21 patients 19 showed improvement…in fact probably in 1/2 the population a complete reversal of all pain…it is simple one tablespoon at bedtime…you can review other studies and other info at http://www.liquidcmo.com can release the study until it has been peer reviewed and published but as soon as that happens will send the paper out there so all can read it…with respect dr dave
Three months ago I was as skeptical as John (below). I have OA in both knees and was contemplating knee replacement surgery. I decided to give this guy’s recommendations a chance as a last resort, since my meds weren’t helping much. I’ve been on fairly large doses of glucosamine/chondroitin, ASU, SAMe, and Omega 3-6-9 since around last Thanksgiving. My knee pain has reduced by, I would guess, about 75%. I don’t want to over-hype this regimen, and I don’t have any idea how long the relief will last. But it’s real, and it’s substantial. Note that you have to allow a couple of months for it to fully kick in. [...]
The above review was originally written on 2/14/07. As of 6/7/07, I’ve added the supplement MSM, and the “cocktail” continues to work. I’m still off pain meds except for the occasional ibuprofen. The supplements aren’t magic, my knees continue to hurt, but I’m still much closer to pain-free than before I began the regimen. And most importantly, I’m still avoiding the surgeon’s knife. ~CPW
